Well done to the Irish teams who took part in the SIAB Schools Cross Country Championships in Santry Demesne on Saturday 21st March. There were silver team medals for the Irish Junior & Intermediate Boys with bronze team medals for the Irish Junior & Intermediate Girls. See AAI Review here.
Congrats to the East Munster athletes, Fred Crowley, Thurles CBS ( 18th Junior Boys race), Avril Deegan, Presentation Thurles (27th Inter Girls race) & Michael Power, St. Augustine’s College (23rd Inter Boys race). Well done also to Munster athletes, Darragh McElhinney who produced a stunning performance to win individual gold in the Junior Boys race & to Jennifer Cotter (27th Junior Girls), Caoimhe Harrington (11th Inter Girls) & Aisling Kelly (22nd Inter Girls).
