The Annual SIAB Schools Combined Events Championships took place on Friday 10th November in the Emirates Arena, Glasgow. All four Irish teams came home with medals with gold for the Junior Boys, bronze for the Junior Girls and Inter Boys and silver for the Inter Girls. The Irish team had one individual winner in the Junior Boys competition with Iarlaith Golding, St. Colman’s Claremorris winning bronze.
Our four Munster athletes on the day were Orla Coffey, St. Angela’s Cork (13th Junior Girls), Aisling Cassidy, Bandon Grammer (12th Inter Girls), Brian Lynch, Colaiste an Spioraid Naoimh (6th Inter Boys) & Darragh Miniter, Ennistymon CBS (16th Inter Boys). Congratulations to all four on representing their province and country so well.
